Wes Conard’s Blog
Wes Conard is a principal in siliconPR, a San Francisco-based PR and marketing communications company. After working in journalism for eight years (Philadelphia Inquirer, Bloomberg) he joined Burson-Marsteller’s San Francisco Media Practice as a director in 1999 for a couple of years and then went to biotech tools maker Affymetrix, where he was senior director responsible for global PR for five years.
This blog is a forum for discussion about media issues, from academic theory to new technology to practical tools for anyone who needs to use effective communications in their job. It basically gives me a place to continue being a reporter of sorts, to share interesting stuff I find on the web and to connect with other people who are interested in the same things.
